Bayshore HealthCare’s Continued Commitment to Nunavut’s Healthcare

Bayshore HealthCare, a leading provider of home and community care services across Canada remains dedicated to enhancing healthcare delivery in Nunavut. With over 450,000 clients nationwide, Bayshore has been serving as a contracted nursing provider for Nunavut’s Department of Health under a multi-year contract. In addition, Bayshore currently holds a sole source contract for paramedic services in Nunavut’s three regions.

Strengthening Healthcare in Nunavut

In partnership with the Government of Nunavut, Bayshore has been a partner in stabilizing and increasing the availability of high-quality community health relief services across Nunavut’s three regions. With over 25 years of experience through its Northern Staffing program, Bayshore continues to play a crucial role in providing healthcare support to remote and isolated communities.

The Northern Staffing Program

Bayshore’s Northern Staffing program enables healthcare professionals, including nurses, paramedics, and nurse practitioners, to deliver essential services in northern, rural, remote, isolated, and semi-isolated Inuit, First Nations and Metis communities. These services encompass primary care, advanced clinical assessments, and mental health support, offered in various settings such as hospitals, clinics, and patient homes.
